No wonder. House buying is further and further away as a possibility for many. I think we should do what Canada does and put a 3 year wait for non-residents to buy property.

Many of the 880k will probably not sign up for insurance either. The ones who do have it through employer are also crazy high (about $1,000/month for a family of 3) so of those they will probably also drop one of their family members, too. We are in such predicament and like us are many.
