XPENG & Voltron (not the toy) just dropped Indonesia’s first 451 kW chargers – G6 Pro pulls 80 % in 12 min (Tesla's are still sipping coffee). Good news for Jakarta, but will Aussie roads see this “speed‑boat” too, though Aussies do love GOOD coffee.

Already batteries are overtaking gas as a peak energy source, and we have far more capacity in the pipeline. #renewable #solar #Auspol.

wont be long before we don't need gas peaker plants at all!

is it any wonder fossil fuel companies are spending a fortune on disinformation and lobbying..

Tesla just hit a massive milestone: Dry electrode manufacturing now works at scale! eliminating solvents & huge drying ovens means lower costs, smaller factories, higher energy density (super-low binder), and longer battery life. This could drive down EV & energy storage prices significantly.

Big wins for Aussie EV fans: Smart has dropped the #1 Pro+ to $47,900 drive-away (was $54,900 + ORCs) and #3 Pro+ to $50,900, plus $3,500 plate bonus on both, total savings up to $13,500! These EV price wars mean we're the winners down under. anotehr nail in the Evs are unaffordable coffin. #ev

Not an #EV, but a PHEV with a massive 300Km EV only range! so, when does a PHEV become an actual EV with a range extender? not only that, the LM (MG)LS9 Hyper is quite the land barge.

2026 Xpeng X9 coming to OZ, we might get the updated model, 110Kwh battery, 750Km range CLTC, 800V, and fast charge 450km in 10 min! no way your getting a car load of kids toileted and snacked up in that time on a long trip. (gives cybertruck render vibes before we all saw the actual truck)

In January, across all of Norway, just 7 gasoline-only cars were sold. The country has transitioned to EVs in just a few short years.
Even after cutting EV incentives, Norway only sold 98 diesel cars in January
Norway cut EV incentives, resulting in a rush and record sales. That would usually cause a hangover, but EVs still took 94% share in January.

According to FCAI Jan sales figures, overall car sales were the same as last year, (0.3% +) Petrol car sales fell 14%. highlighting the shift toward electrified vehicles. PHEV and EV. PHEVs saw a 175% increase in sales.

If only those PHEV buyers actually plugged them in, they might save some $

China's MIIT is mandating mechanical handles on BOTH interior & exterior doors with a decent grip space (min 6cm x 2cm x 2.5cm) so they work even if power fails in a crash or fire....in some cases car deformation prevents door opening no matter how hard you yank a handle...
