Here we see Siemens SC42DM #307 of Metro North Railroad testing with Long Island Railroad's DE30ACs and C3s pulling it through in Jamaica.
LIRR will get their own Siemens Chargers in 2027, so to prepare, MNRR sent one of theirs to test.

Visitors meandered through fantastical, angular, and distorted sculptural recreations of New York's component parts, including skyscrapers, taxis, and even a walk-in subway. The Twin Towers even appeared as playful, stocky caricatures.

“Red Grooms at Grand Central” was a retrospective of Grooms’ career thus far, and included pieces from his ambitious 1975 “Ruckus Manhattan” project. Together, the collection of works created a city-within-a-city, and conveyed the larger-than-life energy of #NYC.

32 years ago, a major installation by artist Red Grooms filled Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal. The show, “Red Grooms at Grand Central,” premiered in April 1993 and celebrated the reopening of the terminal’s historic main waiting area. These pictures show some of the sculptures featured.

When approaching a grade crossing, remember to:

✅ Stand at least 15 feet away.
✅ Look both ways before crossing.
✅ Cross only when the gates are raised, the lights stop flashing, and the bells stop ringing.

Never ever attempt to beat a train!
