Just another refugee from The Bad Place. I make stuff like this. I call it photo/graphic art, it's usually conceptual but sometimes just aesthetic. It combines composite photography and technical vector illustration. If you work in a similar way let me know!
When a ruler has the power and audacity to place himself above the law and all the checks and balances are eroded and inadequate, then the nature of the law is revealed: it only has power when equal or greater powers choose to respect it.

This image from India's Chandrayaan-2 orbiter from 7 March 2025 shows Intuitive Machines' IM-2 lunar lander lying on its side in a crater.

On the left rim is the shadow of one of the legs sticking up into space. Long gouges at right show how the lander dragged across the surface before tipping.

This is likely an artifact caused by the fact that large scale surveys didn't provide a 'none' option until the British Social Attitudes survey in 1983. Previously people would default to stating a Christian denomination.

I did an event in DC & there was a party for donors etc after. Was talking to 2 ppl & I said "Things are so bad." They said "No this is how it is. Things swing one way, then another. It's normal."

That's when I realized why Dems are toothless. They have no idea what this is. Frogs boiling in water.

The disparity btwn what’s actually happening in Los Angeles and the way it’s being mischaracterized is one of the biggest stress tests of modern media in recent memory. Botted socials, AI, old clips, declining literacy—it’s like seeing a broken emergency response system hit by a storm.

I don't care if these monstrous ICE raids are a "federal operation". This is authoritarian violence, plain and simple.

Just because Stephen Miller has kidnapping quotas for brown people he doesn't want to see on the street doesn't mean we have to think it's okay.

Americans, are you proud of yourselves for allowing the election of a pathetic name-caller with the maturity of a 6 year old playground bully as the tyrant ruler of the most powerful country on earth? Get your house in order, NOW.

If the amount of foul fascist vitriol being spouted in the average YouTube chat is truly representative of public opinion we might as well call it now, set off all the nukes and get it over with. I can only hope that YouTube has been overrun by bots aiming to skew everything to the right.

Musk cannot be “turned”, “flipped”, “allied” with. He is a Nazi and he’s killed 300,000 people, mostly children. Anyone considering taking his political contributions or discussing allying with him has no moral compass nor should they be near power.

Elon Musk, US oligarch, instructed Grok to post about the fictitious "White Genocide in South Africa" completely unprompted across Twitter.

The Ai was forced to talk about the racist fantasy across thousands if not millions of unrelated posts in a ridiculous attempt at spreading racist propaganda.

There was a huge X-class solar flare yesterday on the Sun!

You can see it on the right-hand limb in these SDO images.

I find it so neat that we live next to, and can study, a star.

We take it for granted that it's "the Sun" and it's always in the sky, but there is a star and it is RIGHT THERE.
