Mr.Sandman (Oliver) predates Plushee by a good few years. I never really used him much but I never wanted to scrap them either. Plushee I've gotten more mileage out of, and they've become very loved around here!

I think i'm gonna roll with the idea that Plushee was modeled after Oliver by their predecessor. Mune loves all her angels, so it would make sense that in order to save one, she'd guide one of her dwindling ones to take the form of a thriving Angel.

As a result, Plushee is almost like a little bootleg Sandman. Rather than being able to put people to sleep with magic, they're more of a sleep paralysis creature that quite literally drinks the nightmares from patrons to help them sleep. The end goal is the same, she means well, but ultimately is a bit more creepy.

At least they get along!

worked on implementing a bonfire/checkpoint system! i've always liked campfire scenes in RPGs, so i spent some extra time on it so that you can see your party lounging around while in the menu
