A friend informed me of a neat website that lets you see what images look like with specific color deficiencies.

For example, Plushee is normally blue and purple with magenta eyes. But with blue-blind/Tritanopia, they're a green and grey with red eyes!

I have the full game now, tho I think i'ma wait on playing it for just a wee bit to see if it gets any patches.

I want my experience with this game to be as best as it can be, but ive run into bugs I didn't even encounter in the demo, so ye ima just hold off for now.

I got a lot to work on anyway.

Spongebob Squarepants: Titans of the Tide (Demo)

My GOD bro, I'm so happy with this demo. Couldn't fit all my notes in one ALT text, so 3 pictures!

TLDR:
This is what I wanted Cosmic Shake to be. I still love that game, but the intro level and Goldfish island left such a good first impression.
+ Visually and controls wonderfully. I love how the dodge and air dodge feel. Lots of synergy with the other moves. The dodge also having Coyote time when you perform it off a ledge also feels so wonderful when attempting to cross large gaps! The music in this demo is very nice! I hope more catchier melodies pop up in the final game as well! The biggest thing I yearn for is another SpongeBob game with super catchy melodies I hum for years. I'm already humming the Goldfish Island theme a bit! -- Cutscenes have the odd movement flow from Cosmic Shake. Was never really a fan of it. Its still nice looking animation but overall feels too off with SpongeBob characters. Especially when it comes to how their arms bend in that constant bowing shape or how they almost kinda just speed snap to poses. A motion blurry mess sometimes imo. but tis a minor nitpick. - The pizza in SpongeBob's glide ability still doesn't open up in a parachute shape despite that being part of the gag in the original show. This one is Facinating to me, because the animation for Patrick is him using the a parachute correctly. I hope at some point this is fixed, but that's a nitpick really. + SpongeBob ditching the bubble wand for full on karate chops w/ his final swipe being his spin move was a genius evolution of his attack ability. Same goes for Patrick. + The burrow ability for Patrick is very fun to use. It works a lot like how it does in New Super Lucky's Tale. + The throw ability for Patrick works super well compared to how lackluster it is in Rehydrated. o Very sad Tikis do not animate anymore. They're inanimate, yes, but I liked it when each Tiki had a personality.   The standard Wood Tikis would get nervous and chatter their teeth, The red Boom Tikis would huff and puff when they're ready to detonate (This one especially I hope is re-added, because the indicator that they're about to self destruct in this game needs more visual clarity,) and the Stone Tikis looked at you with disappointment/boredom. All which would turn to face your general direction. -- The blast radius on the Boom Tikis should be the size of their trigger radius. With how far away these Tikis get aggro'd now compared to BFBB and Cosmic Shake, I think their blast should be just as big. That or an explosion that eventually expands to the size of the trigger radius like how the explosions worked in the Heavy Iron titles. +- Enemies are relatively more hostile, I greatly appreciate this change! The Fodder ghosts may not anticipate their swings, but they work like Fodders from BFBB; They're quick to catch up and try to smack you. I still feel like they should have a further range out for detecting when they need to start swinging however. You shouldn't be able to easily lap these enemies in a circle. ++ The spitter ghosts actually shoot in front of you rather than at you when you're moving! YES! This is the behavior a lot of the projectile enemies in the older games had to assure they were going to hit you. The best part about this enemy too is they eventually teleport much like some of the Bucket heads in the Movie game did. o I really hope there is a Mini-Boss theme or a Big Enemy fight theme in the final game. Encounters with a big brute or an ambush should really have a theme tied to it to make the moment more impactful. Fighting the big ghost in this demo in front of the Krusty Krab, followed up by no real fanfare or music change when Mr.Krabs' airship appeared felt very anti-climactic. In BFBB and Movie game, there were themes associated for Ambushes like these moments. New game of course, but just something I noticed that kinda took me out of it a bit. o Big Enemies should have a more visible flinch to your attacks. I think the flashing to white works but would feel better wailing on an enemy with a health bar if they showed an actual visual reaction to it. - Goo/Water hazard in this game instantly killing you. This is how its always worked in these games, however in Battle, and Movie game, there was a second chance mechanic. If you jumped into goo, there was a likely chance that if the game remembered your last safe position on land, and if it was in a relatively close distance away or above, it will try and cartoonishly bounce you back to that spot. It was velocity based too, so if you were clever enough, you could manipulate a bit where you'd land. This was a great way to ensure that if you made a little mistake, you didn't get a instant fade to black. This also ties into my want to use the Dodge Roll's coyote time right above ledges with water. I feel if Im just a bit off with my timing, I shouldn't be immediately faded to black, but just launched back to shore first. Then if I screw up again, I deserve that clean KO.
