Doing a reintroduction here - I’m a 30-something year old Chicago transplant originally from Texas. I’m a student pilot, avgeek, and have a newfound love for cycling. I’m also queer, trans, and unapologetic about it. I post whatever is going on in my head at the time pretty much!

Monitoring everything continuously. When necessary I’ll tell the aircraft to make a change via the autopilot…it’s not flying, I am. Maintaining assigned course, altitude, vertical profiles and power settings is what it does. Until I alter instructions or disconnect it and take over.
