As a furry in tech, I hate the stereotypes and memes. It is not true that the Internet would break if a plane full of furries went down. The Internet wouldn't even blink beyond a headline. It's cool there are furries in tech but with respect to population we're insignificant in both fandom and tech.

I totally lack self-confidence in myself when it comes to intimacy with others. I need encouragement and reassurance that I'm not being judged or pressured to go faster/farther than I'm ready. You can't just tell me. You gotta show me.

I had to read this 4 times before I realized "hit back" referred to literal violence. I thought it was referring to hitting the back button because of a digital ad.
