Ia Darakhvelidze, an art director who has served at several prominent creative agencies in Georgia, has also been detained tonight.

She's one of 44 people arrested in the past days in connection with the Oct 4 protest.

72-year-old doctor George Chakhunashvili was arrested a few minutes ago, allegedly in connection with the October 4 protest. Activists gathered in front of his apartment, chanting, "Doctors in prison, murderers outside".

Information about recently detained people:
Two of them have caner - one of them is already in stage three. Three are living on the breadline in conditions of extreme poverty. One of them told the lawyer that he had lived through such hardships. How could prison possibly be worse?

As of today, there are 104 political prisoners in Georgia.
Meanwhile, Irakli Kobakhidze claims that only "50 – 100 people" are blocking the road in front of parliament every day.
If that's true, I wonder - who were all those people blocking the road today?
