#Landscape and #Portrait Photographer south-west of UK. Still thinking of ditching Adobe (it's like a habit-forming drug) and currently experimenting with Darktable. Website Link: tamarphotography.co.uk Substack: https://tamarphotography.substack.com/

My first proper post on Substack. It's not so much about photography - more about the city of Plymouth on one day this March. Included plenty of shots that have not reached Bluesky.

Beautiful shot with great tones
Such energy and movement yet peaceful at the same time.

Nice image & appreciate the commentary ("the balance between light and dark is way the fuck off right now"). On the nail, I'd say :-)
Thankyou kindly. You're dead right - this is an image not really suited for social (still less anti-social) media on a smartphone. It's a print image that needs to be say 20 x 16 & on a wall.

For #ShopfrontFriday

"Armed Forces Day, Exmouth"

Perhaps one of the most eccentric shop fronts in England? Anybody got any others to post?

For #FireHydrantFriday

"FireHydrant & Bluebells"

Spring is now sadly over & the Bluebells are gone.

It's #EastCoastKin #scape day!

From a recent walk on #Dartmoor. Hard to believe that in the 18th & 19th Centuries this was an industrial landscape with a tin mine in the fore & middle ground.

Wonderful capture. The last person you'd expect to see on a Chopper!
Wonderful to see such a photo.
Simple yet very effective :-) love it.
Thankyou Ergast for your kind comment. It is much appreciated :-)
Thankyou kindly for your comment, Brent. Truth is - I hate doing sunsets - & others do them so much better!
Many years ago I lived for a short while in Bavaria. I remember the Englischer Garten in Munich where office workers would remove their clothes at lunchtime break - the small lakes in the Allgau similarly. Being British I found this strange at first - but got used to it.
All beautiful photos :-)
