Ha ha ha, WHAT IF the plan is to offer the apps for free, as long as you, Dear User, design templates, clip art, and other assets that Canva can sell in their suite.

If Canva's offerings (I don't know them) are deep in AI, it would be dumb to steer these Creative Professional apps into the same lane.
My current guess is: offer free apps, capture an increased market share, then eventually screw over — er, I mean "capitalize upon" their increased audience.

I've heard it suggested that they'll make it free*, which might be… interesting. But they way they've done this (shutting down the site, forums, saying nothing) seems unfriendly. It feels shady.

* by which I mean free as in fortnite

What if the goal of Stardew Valley was to build a rocketship and all of the factories and infrastructure you need to make a it work? That's the premise of Little Rocket Lab, which has a demo that's been entertaining me while I wait for it to release next week.

If you’ve not tried HADES, it has a consequence-free setting called “god mode” which took it from “I don’t get the appeal” to “this is all I want to play” for me.

While scooping coffee beans, one fell, and I worried it would land on our coffee-bean coloured floor (frustrating). But it fell straight into the coffee grinder instead (convenient)!
Anyway we have to look for good omens wherever they present themselves, is all I’m saying.

I rarely go to thrift stores and I never flip through the vinyl records.
But I was there today and I found an old copy of an album I set out only HOPING I MIGHT find at the actual record store,
and now I’ll be chasing this high for the rest of my life, I guess
