Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (Super Donkey Kong 2) was released in Japan on this date 30 years ago! If the original DKC was everything I had wanted in a game at the time, DKC2 was what pushed me over the line as a lifelong DK and Rare obsessive. The greatest 2D platformer of all time!

I don't think I'll be releasing on the exact date of it's anniversary but it will be coming at least this weekend. Friends though how much I talk about this series (my apologies 😭) but I will be gushing about it in a video matter.
Currently working on a new short video talking about my favourite trilogy of all time. It's not really a review but more so talking about how the Donkey Kong Country games got me into video games. I'm hoping to get this out around the time of DKC2's 30th anniversary. I hope you look forward to it.

I feel this video was made for me. Gamma is such a great character only appearing in 1 small portion of SA1. Easily my favourite Sonic character. Robots like Gamma are some of my favourite character archetypes. Omega is cool too.
