Accoridng to the Eorzea creation myth, The Twelve created Heaven and Hells respective of each of the 6 elements. The 7th Heaven, that rules over the others, is Astral aspected. Similarly, the 7th Hell, the rules over the others, is Umbral aspected.

The Halonic Priest's Planisphere is an globe brought to the Holy See by the astrologian Lewphon. He had commissioned an artist to capture aspects of their faith. But after presenting it to them in hopes of introducing Sharlayan astromancy to Ishgard, it was left to collect dust.

Ishgard's incredible magic defense that surrounds the city is known as Daniffen's Collar. It was created almost 1000 years ago in the year 550 of the Sixth Astral Era and required the power of 2 dozen dragon eyes.

Also god I love the concept art for the The Supreme Sacred Tribunal of Halonic Inquisitory Doctrine it creates such a feeling of dread just looking at it and fittingly so due to how many no doubt unjustly lost their lives to those inside.

At first I thought it was just a pic of Ishgard but per the caption “The opposite side of the city which could only be viewed from a distance in FFXIV 1.0. On this side you can see the scars left by long years of war with the dragons. (Yamate)” and yeah if you zoom in you can see the damage!

I always create alone and for myself which - as someone who was used to do it for collaborative things like RPing - often feels very lonely. So whenever someone wants in to my space I'm like "omg really? ;A; LETS GO" AHSLKJGFJKDS
