A Michigan man died of rabies after getting a kidney transplant from another man who died of the virus, only the fourth instance in nearly 50 years in which an organ donor passed the virus to a recipient, federal officials said.

there is no consistent line at which violence/gore becomes "not okay" or "too much" and in particular when violence is shown as heroic particularly as wrt police, military, or medical personnel it's entirely acceptable, whereas if it's at all sexualized it's entirely unacceptable.

feels really weird everytime theres discourse about censoring gore, especially when thats like, what i draw professionally. "horses shows (...) gory imagery (mutiliation, blood)" okay thats literally most of my job, so...

i tried opening aftereffects on my 16gb ram laptop and it gave me a popup warning like "lol what do u think youre doing". going to upgrade it to 32gb and Hopefully that will be ok and i can try and get back to my film and animation projects? my work desktop i had to return was 64gb.. i miss her...
