Who has a better Alex Horne impression? Julian Clary or my pet dog Alex Horne?
Can't say I'm surprised by any of this.

Man, I was so freaked out about the new episode of Taskmaster not being posted yet. Until I remembered today’s Wednesday.

She was so kind to let the rhino get some enrichment and on-the-job training!
Ed said in the Podcast, that the rhino was a prize task from Zaltzman and Emma won the episode so it’s her rhino. No mystery after all. 😂

Okay, now it’s an itch I’m determined to scratch: Why was the ball-shooting rhino labeled “Sidi” in the latest Taskmaster ep?
1. As suggested by @kischtrine.bsky.social, Emma’s famous ball troubles
2. Both proudly dry/hiding lotion about their person
3. Secret third option

Phil should have brought in a note that says, “Hey, mate” for the prize task.

Just learned two things from Phil saying, “Urine! Didn’t expect that!” before the first task proper:

1. Clearly Phil is an archeologist
2. Sanjeev should’ve gotten 5 points on the prize task

I haven’t seen this show, but did you guys know Alan Carr is the namesake of the word car?
30 minutes until part two of the batshit time that is Alan Carr as a traitor

Ania with straighter hair is like Superman putting on glasses so you think he’s Clark Kent.

Here’s Alex Horne* doing his Pennywise impression at D&D.

Me too. Especially if it’s notorious serial kiss thief Alex Horne.

He won’t. It’s ALL going to hair plugs and veneers.

I ADORED whenever Rosie made Baba lose his composure, too! His reactions to her having a chicken wing in her bra for a prize task and saying "Babatunde" as a boring men's name were joyous. Plus the way Rosie and Emma were so great at elevating the team tasks. It's def in my top 20 favorite series.
I still haven’t recovered from this Series. Specifically Rosie psychologically tormenting Greg and Alex. “Boo hoo, I am dead” just about broke me.

I refuse to believe Emma Sidi doesn't make little noises in her daily life like she did after telling Alex to stop the clock here.

So clearly a Mary Poppins reference, and yet A Clockwork Orange is all I can see. Maybe it's the wardrobe?

If I were in the s20 cast I’d file an official complaint as revenge for that episode 3 team task.
“You've never done that much research about any aspect of this show?”

I know hindsight is 20/20, but I wish Maisie’d had these two come charging out of the bag for that task. Then the koala could hand Alex a note that says Ania is his daughter as well.

Having seen ep 3 since posting, I’d like to apologize personally to the s20 cast for how triggering it must be to hear the name Louise.
I’ve mentioned my dog Alex Horne, shown here being adopted. Like his namesake, he’s a smart, silly chaos gremlin with disgusting farts. But now I’m struck by how similar Reece Shearsmith’s personality is to that of my other dog, Louise Puggs. It’s clear she’s had a powerful influence on his career.

Okay, I promise to acknowledge people from series 20 besides Reece Shearsmith. Did the gargoyle in ep 1 knock ITSELF over in horror at the site of Masie’s (actually quite reasonably sized) undergarments? Please share your thoughts.

Not having fun is how Reece Shearsmith has fun.
Tonight! Everyone has a bit of fun (except Reece Shearsmith) in brand new Taskmaster. 9pm on Channel 4!

Sanjeev Bhaskar and Reece Shearsmith both have comedy sensibilities that are eerily similar to those of their respective spouses*, and it’s adorable.
