El Salvador’s policies for fighting crime include mass trials where the accused can’t defend themselves, torture and arbitrary arrests. Being suspected of being a gang member can get someone thrown in prison. It should scare everyone that the right admires these human rights abuses

You would be delusional if you believe western imperialist wouldn’t ally with Israel without lobbying. Even they have admitted that if there were no Israel there would need to be a state to serve the same purpose. Israel and western imperialists have a mutually beneficial relationship

<div class="field field-field-text"><p><a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/qatar" target="_blank">Qatar</a> and <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/egypt" target="_blank">Egypt</a>, the states serving as guarantors of the Gaza ceasefire, on Saturday called on <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/israel" target="_blank">Israel</a> to withdraw from Gaza and for an international stabilisation force be deployed, steps they say are essential to fully carry out the fragile agreement.</p>
<p>Mediators are now working to advance the next phase of the ceasefire, which outlines these measures, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said during a panel discussion at the Doha Forum conference in Qatar's capital on Saturday. </p>
<p>Israel and Hamas have not yet settled on how to proceed beyond the ceasefire agreement’s initial phase.</p>
<p>During that first phase, Israeli forces moved back behind a designated "yellow line" inside Gaza, while Hamas freed the remaining living hostages in its custody and returned the bodies of all but one of the deceased captives.</p>
<p>"Now we are at the critical moment. It's not yet there. So what we have just done is a pause," Al Thani told the annual diplomatic gathering.</p>

It’s not and never was about drugs. Venezuela has massive amounts of crude oil and is resisting oil companies. This is a first step in military intervention in Venezuela
I can't stop thinking about the purported drug smugglers being murdered by the US military. The punishment for drug offenses isn't the death penalty. This is just bloodlust and men in suits playing with lives they don't care about. It's truly grotesque and gravely compromises this country.

Democrats only put off fascism. They aren’t a long term solution. Socialism is. The increasing income inequality and deterioration of quality of life for the working class is a feature not a bug. Fascism offers a false solution. This is will always be what capitalism transforms into.

Trump isn’t a fluke. He’s the result of a hurting and sometimes hopeless working class. The people have suffered under Neo liberalism for too long. The fascist have given them an alternative. While the ruling class exploits them more and more they give them a promise of a better world.
