Huntington Beach feels like a small town to grow up in but Picture Rocks actually is a small town and people get to know your face around here. Max is gone for the week and I decided I wanted some wine after cleaning so I drove to the gas station and the clerk asked me where my brother was.

One year ago the Northern lights said hello in Tucson Arizona and that night lives rent free in my head. We’ve had them a few times since but nothing has compared to this.

My husband and I stayed up having drinks and talking until about 5AM. I can handle the drinking a lot in one night part, but I can’t handle the not sleeping part. I’m not hungover but holy crap do I feel the lack of sleep. Hello drinking in my 30’s.

I was lucky enough to attend a screen of Will & Harper last night hosted by the soccer team I support, Los Angeles Football Club. So many teams and their front offices talk a lot of talk but rarely do they walk it. Thank you to my team for making us feel seen and heard.

My husband is Jewish, I was raised Catholic-ish and we live in Saguaro National Park. A 6ft holiday cactus was 100% needed this year.

I’m going to vent here because it feels like a safe space. All my friends come to me for mental health help and I love them and do what I can for them. But it gets exhausting to have that be my job and in my off time have my friends come to me as their therapist. I’m always here for anyone who needs

After a very long week I am even more thankful that the universe decided to gift us this thing and its sibling. They won’t come near us yet but they’re eating and we’ll get them into the vet for shots and they will join our old lady inside! For right now we’ve named them Wanda and Otto.
