zakiya bywaters publicly exposed rory dames’ abuse of players in 2016, six years before the yates report. six. years. think of how much suffering players could’ve been spared if the league had simply listened to and believed her.
Honoring the legacy that shaped the league.

Five of the NWSL’s 12 No. 1 overall draft picks were Black — starting with Zakiya Bywaters, the league’s first-ever No. 1 pick in 2013.

Sarah Ferguson’s appalling avarice in her dealings with Epstein are another example of the utter uselessness of people like her from her class. All the privilege, a talent for nothing, yet a grasping ambition serving the very worst interests.

Abolish ICE.

There’s no reforming it.

There’s no compromise.

There’s only one way to rein in ICE’s terror campaign. Abolish it.

Xavi on Sunday took a shot from right where Son always used to shoot, just outside the box, and only a brilliant Donnarumma save stopped it from going on. Xavi is starting to show he deserves the No.7 shirt. History doesn't always repeat itself, but it does so often rhyme

The fact that Xavi and Wirtz are starting to flourish at the same time in the Prem just goes to show the importance of affording time and patience to young players who need to adjust to the speed and physicality of this league. They’re now both instrumental for their respective teams.

Gallagher was brilliant today. Never stops running, presses relentlessly, and how well did he do to win the ball for Solanke’s second goal? Lovely cross too. But Xavi was MOTM for me, he ran the game and that’s maybe his best game in the Prem for us so far

Xavi Simons is not only getting more touches in the attacking 1/3, but in recent games those touches have increasingly come in central attacking areas, unsurprisingly leading to more chance creations and his best performances.

Solanke was such a big miss for Spurs, and we’re seeing the importance of having a proper 9

Tell you what, I knew Solanke would be important for the side, and he's been a real miss, but he's shown wtihout a shadow of a doubt he's essential. If only we'd had him earlier in the season. Could have been a different story.

Interesting how it has taken both Xavi and Wirtz exactly the same time to get up to Premier League levels. What a banger of a performance from Xavi.
Was going to say, Xavi next

I think I was maybe a bit unfairly down on Simons first half of this season. He is a proper proper player. Brilliant today, worked so hard and deserved more from his performance.

That’s a titanic performance given the first half and the fact that we are down to the bare bones. On top of our other injuries, today we were missing Van de Ven, Spence and Danso. Brilliant point against a team that signed two of the best players in the Prem this month
