Take nothing I post seriously. Do not exceed 12 caplets in a 24-hour period.

Fredericton, New Brunswick

My go-to security blanket shows are Community, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Better Off Ted and Mystery Science Theater 3000.

If you understand those, you understand me.
The solution to the Fredericton bridge problem is simple:

A launcher (called the Car-a-Pult™) is installed along the river on each side. You pull your vehicle in and it is launched across the river where a giant circus net catches you. Then, a crane gently lifts you out and places you on the road.

Was the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street just a metaphoric warning for the dangers of untreated sleep apnea?

Fun fact: There are only 1,364 humans on the planet that have not recorded a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah".

I’m finally getting my winter tires on tomorrow.

I’m pretty sure my current all-seasons are actively trying to kill me, Stephen King short story style. (You can have that one for free, Mr. King.)

The soundtrack from the movie "Josie and the Pussycats" is easily one of my favourite albums. Those songs can really get me hyped to get something done or ready for a big meeting.

I appreciate app creators that offer a lifetime purchase option rather than just subscription models for software that would continue to function without issue if the company were to shut down today.

I bought a pasta maker and this is either going to be the best decision I ever made, or the worst.

So far, I've made spaghetti, macaroni and rice noodles. And while it's probably much more convenient to just buy them at the store and boil, there's something magical about making them yourself.

I haven’t been at the Atlantic Superstore on Smythe for a long while… what the hell did they do to that place? It feels like a government check point before a prison that somehow also stocks rigatoni.

I used to enjoy going there.

Teen Vogue was one of my go-tos for reliable political journalism. With a lack of eloquence, this sucks.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
