When something gets posted here as a fact, we need to put links or citations with it. I've seen more and more schadenfreude bait that people like to jump on with no actual facts to be found with simple searches. This is how the sycophants got hooked and how the other platforms operate and thrive.

1982 your humble narrator was a US Navy Fire Control Tech Guns, and was assigned to an aging 2 gun Destroyer Escort/Fast Frigate. This is the equipment ID plate from the main gun fire control computer, the Hannibal Ford MK1A Range Keeper (Mark One Able). Note the date of manufacture.

Sport touring is my favorite option. My GTR1400 was really good for long distances. A good friend of mine who is about one foot shorter than me rode one from Southeast TN to Alaska by herself as a divorce celebration. My VFR-800 is my all time favorite for any length of riding.

I was raised southern baptist. My entire childhood I was taught to hate people I'd never met and be afraid of places I'd never been. I joined the Navy and met those people and went to those places and realized the assholes that were indoctrinating me were full of shit.

About 5 years ago (and several employers later) I was training a new tech, who went through the same course. Apparently my named folders had taken on a semi-legendary status and were still on the server.

About 15 years ago my employer sent me to an advanced machine programming course. The workstations had folders with attendants names and program revision numbers in separate subfolders. I named each of my revisions for a line from NGGYU.
