“Please get the truth out about our son.”

Alex Pretti, a VA ICU nurse, was killed by ICE while trying to protect a woman being assaulted.

Trump calls him a “monster” and “domestic terrorist.”

Trust your own eyes. Unlike Trump, the video doesn’t lie.

Accessibility isn’t about compliance. Accessibility is about people. David Dame makes this potently clear in his post 👇🏽

Saw a post on LinkedIn about EdTech tools with the headline “ A+ List for Accessibility “ and immediately cringed. First the poster they were sharing did not have good color contrast and several of the tools they shared have “accessibility features” but are not digitally accessible.

I think… a good first step.

Accessories in this pack can be used by any Barbie so that’s a win… hopefully they can follow up with a pack with just the accessories.

Fantastic to see Mattel are working with community groups like ASAN… Shame the reporting from guardian is very medical model focused
Autistic Barbie - Any thoughts +/-?
The doll’s eye gaze is slightly to one side, she has hands that you can flap, an AAC device, fidget spinner & flat shoes.
Very stereotyped.
I think broadening the range of accessories to use with any Barbie would be better?

I think this is a big win because representation matters. Not perfect, but a great positive step.

Be mindful of and gentle with the ways you use Newtown and Sandy Hook today and tomorrow. Those moms, dads, brothers, cousins, and loved ones are here, dealing a hurt most of us can never understand, over and over again.

Listen to them. Amplify their voices.

Student sees me walking on campus: “Are you a professor here?”
Me: “Yes”
Student: “Oh what do you teach?”
Me: “I teach all the assistive technology classes for the rehab department and a special education methods class”
Student: “Oh wow, so you are like a teacher- teacher.”
Me: 😂 “Indeed.”

Our season is definitely donee but I wish fully recovery for these young men. It is a brutal sport. #LifeAsACommandersFan
I didn’t even watch last night…honestly glad I didn’t 😐😖

I hope Jayden, Terry, and the rest of our injured players make a full recovery! I’m so sorry Art Monk had to be present at that game 😭

I guess there’s always next year…? (I have no confidence for the rest of this season 💀)

#Commanders
We’ve hit the part of the season where I turn off the television before the game is over 😐🫣 welp #Commanders #NFCeast
