I love watching a long show that goes off the rails quickly. At what point did the writers come up with this convoluted “truth” that was being kept from our protagonist for 8 seasons. It is quite convoluted.

I think that the character of the hive in pluribus is super interesting. An example:
They seemingly cannot create art. They tell Carol that they are very excited to read something new she wrote because they haven't had anything new. This new art would bring them joy, still. They try to convert her

shout out to my political science professor who said the reason (seemingly the only reason) incest was bad was that it would bring families too close together. There would be no need for families to collaborate with one another and society wouldn't work because of it, he thought. What a man.

Banks should make fancy holiday checks. That way you can give people money in a fun way without the needless limitations of gift cards. (I actually have complicated gift card opinions but that’s not the point)

Fun law fact. In the US it’s illegal to require a purchase for a sweepstakes. Usually the no purchase option is a handwritten mail in note. Haven’t won yet, but it’ll piss some people off if I do

I feel like the government gave signal a bad rap. Like it is a great secure messaging platform. It’s only when you’re talking about major government secrets that it’s stupidly insecure. It’s probably the most (or close to the most) secure messenger you can just download on your phone.

My flight had electronic boarding gates. They weren’t the worst thing I’ve experienced, but they make things notably slower for **no** actual benefit. Seriously, if anyone can come up with a single upside I would be all ears.

living like 15 mins away from a very small airport is great. I need to adjust to it though. I keep showing up before the TSA is open. My whole life so far has been either "close to a very busy airport" or "like an hour from a moderately small airport". This is a while different vibe.

Who decides what the minimum connection time is over at flighty? 30m arrival to departure at DFW going between terminals is neigh impossible, especially if you sit near the back. Why is that your recommended minimum?
