Eleven years ago, I had the nicest, intimate conversation with Udo. When an infamously pushy event-crasher tried to nudge his way into our chat by sitting down and awkwardly snickering at a joke Udo had just told me, he turned and went, "Why are you laughing?! That wasn't for you! Fuck off!" LEGEND.

I’ve spent the past three days directing a project that has been the most fun, relaxed experience of my professional life. My cast was amazing and my producers were wonderful. What a gift to wrap up the year with.

I liked this show more than Friends because it had Miguel A. Núñez Jr. In it.
The infamous flop has released its long-unseen final eight episodes for free, allowing U.S. Friends diehards to watch the spinoff's full run for the first time.

Let's just say that an earthlink account, an AOL account, and a hotmail account wander dazedly into a nursing home. Which of them do you administer live-saving medication to first?

After months of saving, my family is flying to Las Vegas early tomorrow morning for a short two-day trip before heading up to Montana to see my mom and sister. The new threats of flight cancellations are stressing this already-stressed air traveler. Tell me something good. I need my nerves calmed.

I was inspired to revisit 2019's BODY AT BRIGHTON ROCK yesterday and god damn, that movie slaps so hard, it could leave a bruise. If you haven't seen Roxanne Benjamin's tense, ghostly, animal-horror, put it at the top of your list. It's freakin' *GREAT*.

I have thought every single trailer for this new PREDATOR movie looked like total ass. Hokey creature design, goofy CGI, a PG-13 rating, and slo-mo Matrix backflips? Oof.

Now I'm hearing from basically all of my critic pals that it's absolutely awesome and, well... I'm eager to eat my words!

I’ve found most film people who “do it for a living” are trust fund kids, which allows them to pursue the craft 24/7 without worrying about finances. No shade, but without acknowledging their lack of burden, it makes gig-juggling blue collar film folks feel like they’re doing something wrong.
Many full time creatives have “invisible safety nets” like bread-winning partners, trust funds, external support, etc. No shame on anyone, but it creates a false vision of success. The cost of going to cons alone on top of hoping to eat as a freelancer are untenable, IMO.
When people hear that I'm returning to part time work they often ask "are things not going well with your art?"

The problem really is things are going well, but the world is so unstable that I long for some consistency and income that I don't have to pay quarterly taxes on

I'd like Blum to make a sequel to HALLOWEEN H2O called H₂O₂, mainly because I'd be interested in seeing how they could fit hydrogen peroxide into the marketing for it.

The beautiful 124-year-old East Wing of The White House, all of which is owned by The United States National Park Service, is being destroyed this week without any authorization.

And yes, that includes the demolition of the first family’s beloved movie theater, constructed in 1942.
