It's taken me 3 days to process my anger over the shootings of Alex Pretti and Reneee Nicole Good. I'm trying to learn from the civil rights protesters of the '60s, and Dr. King's admonition that only love can overcome hate. I don't know how, but I know we shall overcome one day.

But aren't we constantly reminded that a) Americans can legally own guns, and b) open carry is legal in most states, and should be legal everywhere?
