I understand. Then order them to do it. If they refuse, you fire them. If the insubordination is coming from the Police Chief, then you fire them too. Worried this will backfire politically? Take the side of protecting babies and find out. At least you can sleep at night.

They need to be arrested. They almost killed a baby. I don't care what the official jurisdiction rules are. Have a Minneapolis Police Officer walk up to this ICE agent and put handcuffs on him. Period. Let the courts figure out the rest later.
