Since today sucked overall, I ended up curled up in a blanket crocheting. I now have 40 hearts done. I think I'll make my goal of 100 freebies.

I gave up on crocheting aftet I had to rip apart (frog) 2 hearts in a row. I'll do more tomorrow. I figured at 1-2 a day that I can get a good couple hundred done by August.
Also, new over ear headphones are bringing me mich joy as I again can catch the beautiful nuances in BTS' music.

This is what sparked my conversation about lightstick etiquette. They would NEVER do this in Korea or Japan so spread the word to new ARMY. Keep lightstick in your bubble and never raise it up unless you are doing the wave. PLEASE be considerate of those around you. 🙏

We are dug out and our road finally plowed. Schools are still closed. I'm enjoying the impromptu 4 day weekend...mostly (issues with new glasses = headaches). I'm also really glad I have a heated massage pad....

In hindsight, I shouldn't have shoveled yesterday. Freezing rain and sleet create an ice sheet that means I cannot clear my sidewalk without hammering thru it. I gave up & put grit down. Now to dig out one of the cars...

Snow I can handle. It can be annoying, but doable. Sleet? Sleet sucks. Little pellets of ice are a pita to clear and shovel. The only thing worse is freezing rain, which coats everything in a layer of ice.

Hey ARMY moots - I've friends with extra tickets for Baltimore and Tampa (long story). They're apparently 100 level seats so not cheap. But I offered to see if moots wanted them before they went back into the general pool. (Responses limited; please don't repost).

What is sleep? My brain is spinning. I honestly didn't think I was going to get tickets. I had 5 levels of backup plans. So having tickets for BOTH days _and_ in the levels we wanted _and_ under budget is just freaking out brain.
