As Michael Pollan says, “If it’s made from plants, eat it. If it’s made in plants, don’t.” In my opinion that goes for plant-based alternatives as well. Processed food is processed food regardless of the source material.

Plant-based meats that "bleed" have always perplexed me. Let things be as they are. Almond doesn’t need to be dairy. It just needs to be almond. No need to process, manipulate, or change it in any way. To quote Michael Pollan, “If it came from a plant, eat it. If it was made in a plant, don't.”

Thought is often mistaken for truth, but it’s simply the activity of the mind—just as sound is the activity of the ear. Wisdom lies beyond the noise. Beyond the concepts that thought is made of. Thank you to @buddhismnow.bsky.social for this.
Notice when you’re caught up in thought or emotional reactivity. The more you do this, the more intuitive it becomes. You begin to trust the quiet knowing beneath the noise of the mind. You see the power of awareness.

Goodnight everyone please take care of yourself.
