Partnership from the media is an important part of maintaining a good #safety culture. We can't shame airlines for following safety protocols- avoiding transatlantic crossing after early sensing of issues is the kind of thing that has made #aviation ultra safe.

This is the 2nd flight in the pair that stimulated ASRS... a United flight experienced the same sequence of events when cleared early for the approach, blowing minimums & narrowly missing the mountain, but the fix stayed only inside UAL. We still have this problem in healthcare.
