Councillor Troster and MPP McKenney are right to call out the Ford government's unsubstantiated decision to close the consumption and treatment site at SWCHC. That choice has made the entire community less safe.
McKenney, Troster: Tory ideology created an overdose crisis in Ottawa's Chinatown
Housing, addiction treatment, outreach services, mental health resources and harm reduction are needed to tackle the current crisis.

Statements like this intrigue me, given that there is a similar myth about my own time period and place I research. To the archive, I guess! www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

A new article by @tessmegginson.bsky.social shows that these processes of border delimitation were in fact quite involved. Her analysis of the border town Gmünd demonstrates how citizens actively lobbied for their interests and interacted with international boundary commissions in post-WWI Europe.

The first thing to do, when a federal election is called, is to check your voter registration. Especially if you turned 18 since the last election, moved, or recently became a Canadian, you can check your status and (if necessary) register at this link:

I’m halfway through reading my dissertation out loud to try and catch mistakes/weird phrasing, and I’m at the point where I’m convinced nothing makes sense.

Yesterday I was asking my partner who he thinks I should dedicate my dissertation to and he goes “yourself?” 😂❤️
