This really depresses me. I thought picky clients were jerks but that they just cared about the job a bit too much. Turns out many don't actually care. They just resent working with creatives and like holding power over others.
I feel the clients now using GenAI to do stuff and going "good enough" when they used to nitpick at every last detail is due to them finding out all those nit picky changes take time and work they cant be bothered to put in.

Decision in the Sandie Peggie case.

She was not directly or indirectly discriminated against, her claim of victimisation fails entirely, her claim of harassment fails largely and her claim against Beth Upton fails entirely. www.judiciary.uk/judgments/sa...

Sisu isn't a piece of ground breaking art or especially inventive, but sometimes it's simply cathartic to watch 90 minutes of Nazis getting fucking owned.

They'll make a legacy sequel that's also a Stranger Things spin off.
Netflix, which rarely carries a single movie from before 1980, wants you to know how thrilled they are to acquire that classic piece of franchise IP, Casablanca

Back to playing the old favourite of Rimworld, where my colony has a friendly bear I named Nick Offerman. Unfortunately he's not well trained and I keep getting a warning that Nick Offerman is pooing all over the place again.

What a game.

"You see it's ok to discriminate against the trans because they're not real people like you or I"
Kishwer Falkner in The Times talking about the rights of "biological people". As compared to trans people, who are, of course, non-biological.

I finished Spider-Man 2 last night, and really enjoyed it. Not as good as the first but seemed like a solid refinement of the gameplay. Good time spider punchy fun. Gave Peter and Miles a decent split of attention.

Lol, they gave a dude who's engineering a completely pointless war with Venezuela a peace prize. What does anything even mean anymore.

So this American world cup draw is being handled just as American elections are handled; overly theatrical, interminably long and drawn out enough that it tests everyone's patience and willingness to even bother?

Don't know if it's intentional or not, but a recurring theme of Netflix's Monster series seems to be the old "Eww, ain't them there LGBT people weird an' scary like" bit.
