Three rules in FBI firearm training:

1. Always point your weapon downrange
2. Do not point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot
3. Don’t put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to shoot

Guns are not for threatening compliance for unarmed people doing things you don’t like
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

This is a goddamn nightmare.
ICE detain yet another minor child—chase him down his own street and tackle him to pavement.

"I am legal! I am legal!" he cries over and over in Spanish.

Agent pins the boy down in snow—he desperately tries to keep his exposed hands from freezing at -25°F wind chill temperature.

I’ve updated a ‘23 Undark story that takes a deep dive into the data on the potential link between prenatal use of acetaminophen and neurodevelopmental disorders. It reflects the uncertainty and nuance that is missing in much of the coverage. I hope you’ll read and share. undark.org/2023/07/10/c...
Can In-Utero Exposure to Acetaminophen Cause Autism and ADHD?
The question is a matter of fierce debate among scientists. Now it's making its way into the courtroom.

This is not a joke. This is not normal.

When people ask me what gives me hope, my answer is simple: you do. Every person who refuses to look away. Every lawyer who files a brief. Every protester who shows up. Every voter who refuses to surrender their rights. You give me hope—not because victory is certain but precisely because it is not.

TEXAS IS JUST STEP ONE

Trump plans to take redistricting fights nationwide—and now he’s gaslighting, claiming blue states gerrymander more than red ones.

FACT: House Dems are on record backing a national ban on gerrymandering. Republicans blocked it.
