A 36 year old striker has scored twice against us tonight. Not good enough lads and not by a long chalk.
Newcastle United are going to be heavily criticised for losing that game and rightly so. Going ahead on away games and losing them has become systemic. They’ll have to live with being hammered for it until it stops. That was a game thrown away. Very, very disappointing.

Here’s a point of discussion - #NUFC had to beat tougher and superior opposition to win the Fairs Cup in ‘69 than #Celtic did to win the European Cup in ‘67. That’s not to diminish Celtic’s achievement as the first British club to win the trophy with a team of locals
