One last Emmanuel Rodriguez note: I learned tonight that his nickname is dinamita (dynamite in Spanish).
The Twins recently shut Emmanuel Rodriguez down, so he is no longer playing for Águilas. There's no indication this was related to injury.
That's a bummer, but they could have prevented him from playing at all if they wanted to, and would have had some justification, since he's so injury prone.

I'm happy for Emmanuel Rodriguez, who is shining in LIDOM. In 2022, his hometown team Águilas took him with the first overall pick in their draft. This is his first winter being able to play for them. He entered tonight with a .292/.417/.646 line (1.063 OPS) in 18 games.
