Saw one of those silly pro AI art takes from another creator.
I must say this again: even if you somehow don't have a problem with AI slop art, when you use it you're poisoning your brand. You lose audience and working relationships with both artists and fellow creators.

Something I've noticed I do as a tabletop designer is not having traditional leveling in my games. It's usually small ways of improving characters with adding in traits, or spending XP to improve skills.
Part of it is probably a balancing concern, but hey maybe I'll try it sometime soon.

I’m just saying…Vileborn has shot up to one of my current favorite games. You should definitely check out its quick start!
Had a wonderful time playing Vileborn last night at a table run by @thatgamerajax.bsky.social. The system is so open and provides just enough for you to really build out cool character concepts, nails its Nobledark setting, and feels like it puts mechanical weight in the right narrative places!
