I wish he had a sleepyime routine bc i think he just becomes unconscious when exhausted 😭😭 just crawl into bed/bed adjacent space

I envision one of the adults tying it on having noticed open mouth, which wakes them up (light sleeper), followed by grumpy protest and then defeated acceptance

I keep giving this kid problems. Theyre realisfic for what happens in their lore but still.

At least the breathing difficulties he’ll adapt to in like a year or two and then the chinstrap goes away.

His light core is a little dimmer than a healthy person’s.

Nose good for filtering air and keeping allergens away (something Callow ALSO has: pollen allergy) mouth breathing bad air BAD for bad lungs/light core !!!

Commodore most likely sternly has Callow wear a little chinstrap when sleeping (its literally just a tied strip of cloth to keep their mouth closed) to encourage nose breathing again & adjust to air intake levels. The lung damage is permanent but Cal can adapt to those changes.

Oh they’ll hate this new lore during a recovery arc.
So uhhhh age 13ish Callow has a near drowning incident due to entrapment in one of the reef coves at high tide (he cant swim). The ensuing lung/light core damage invites them to mouth breathe to take in more oxygen, but mouth breathing Not Good

The way Anxious Angler could take a look at callow and be like Man theres someone whos got it Worse than me (the anxiety)

They’ll get their own anxiety in check for to help the little guy not be as anxious about being alive

Healing from the horrors(tm)
I dont feel sick abt interacting with skycotl “community”, exposure therapy by unblocking people who have wronged me, and existing as if they are but a stranger now. I need to do exposure therapy with skykids who wear antlers bc ive been bullied by a lot of those people.
