Reviewer with opinions on fiction. Might talk about translation from time to time. A lot of site update talk (probably). Also writes stories. Reviews and the like (will be) on my site: theannyblog.com (undergoing some construction, excuse the mess)

Due to my declined health that has caused me to visit the ER recently, I've talked to my hubby about revising and editing old posts.

The plan was to be fully done and all of them up by Christmas, but I'll try to get through all of it by late June instead.
Me: "I don't want pie, but I'll eat it sometimes because my husband wants and loves pie."
I have just updated with another part of Thadus. I will schedule 10-13 tomorrow unless I forget.

Additionally I'd like to mention I've given it a (LONG) title.

I have a new favorite character and want to share him with everyone:

(He's... a lot)
I have updated the site with a new Thadus chapter. I have 3 more scheduled, so that's one a day for 4 days in a row. Possibly more if I finish more of these.

If you like this story, please share it. It's about an insufferable spellcaster who visits normal people and suffers.

Am I the only one who used to write my name and the date the book was bought or given to me in my teens?
If we get philosophical, rejection of worldbuilding is rejection of reality itself, because people have since pre-history created cosmologies to explain the world and how they experience it and what is a cosmology, really, if not a built world?
Worldbuilding IS telling a story, imo. You tell a story about culture, language, the area, philosophy, species, of the world itself. It's a separate form of storytelling. It's like saying a play isn't a storytelling medium, just because it's not a book.
Anyway, so, time to read my backlog instead of dreaming of making it bigger.

But I wouldn't mind if someone had the sneaky idea of messaging/mailing me for, you know, reviewing. Wild idea.

(No, fr. Wild idea. I'm down with the cold I got.)
I wish I could magically just receive all the books I want to review, free of charge.

Like, dude, my wallet is crying. October is a birthday month, then comes December, which is, well, Christmas, and then comes 5 birthdays in 3 months.
HSAV1 and NC2 are locked in, but the rest can be moved around based on demand.
Unless there's a demand for a book to be earlier, the order of @rosmei.bsky.social releases will like be…

1. How to Survive as a Villain v1
2. Nan Chan v2
3. Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire v1
4. Don't You Like Me v1
5. A Break in the Clouds v1
6. Global Examination v1
Not me noticing a title I've briefly reviewed in the past now is other platforms than back then and thinking I might have to do another check on all the already reuploaded posts to update tags and information.

Me, mid-September: Ah, looks like I won't be ordering more than one more book this year.

Rosmei: Not so fast. Here are the volume 2 of both A Break in the Clouds and Global Examination, two of your favs.

Me: *opens emptied wallet* ( ; _ ; )
These changes will be listed in the Change Log as well. I suggest you check out the Log now and then for more minor updates. I post (almost) all general site updates there, except reuploaded/edited review posts and Master List updates.
- I have updated phrasing in the Disclaimers for clarity.

The following has been added:
- a Last Edited section on the Disclaimers page now that it's been edited.
- a Q&A about where to find my serials can now be found on the index page.
The following has been fixed:
- I posted about my magical girl research months ago, so the outdated item on the list has been removed from the index page.
- I have changed the location of content warnings, and the Disclaimers page now mentions the correct spot.
I have updated the index page (the page you arrive on when going to theannyblog.com) for the site, as well as done some minor adjustments to the Disclaimers page.

"You can come watch, Mum. It's just a plant."

"Go away, Mum! There's a skulltula!"

"Oh, a small skulltula. It's not scary. Unless it's Mum."

"Skulltulas can appear here! If you hear the enemy music, Mum, it's those."

God, I love my son. 😂
I've added the third installment of this!
