Due to my declined health that has caused me to visit the ER recently, I've talked to my hubby about revising and editing old posts.

The plan was to be fully done and all of them up by Christmas, but I'll try to get through all of it by late June instead.
Not me randomly getting emotional about owning the first volume of Silent Reading because I love that novel so much.

I probably have a lot of things, but the first thing that comes to nind is from I Summoned a Demon, and that's… how on earth (and not earth) Jasper and Orion really connected so that Jasper could summon him with a botched summoning circle (and a little help from a curious, albeit annoyed, Orion).
#JanuaryWorldbuilders, good day! In worldbuilding, sometimes we get deep into figuring out how things work because we want to explain it to the reader. Today, I ask you for the opposite: what is something that you intend to leave mysterious? What doesn't get explained?

Geez.
January 2, 2026 at 2:13 AM
It was like 4 or 5 messages explaining how stories connect and that lore varies between different stories.

The example I used was that Jasper's "mundane" world that he says doesn't have magic is technically in the same one as Thadus', which obviously has magic, just different era and location.

I wrote a long, proper reply but lost it because the app crashed.

Hi, I'm Anny. I write stuff. I have a complex world situation as it's turned into a multiverse + novel in a novel. I can't write a short overview of it because different locations and eras look different and have different lore.
Welcome to a new year of worldbuilding! Let's kick off this year with Day 1 of #JanuaryWorldbuilders in which I ask you: tell me about yourself and the world(s) you're building. Just a general overviews. We'll get into the weeds throughout the year

I spent the past few days being very sick. I think I might be starting to feel better, but I don't think I can get any content out before 2026 begins.

So just Happy Holidays to all of you.

We share brain cells. I might forget too until I'm like, "so, you had someone named the same thing as Sig…??" 😂
December 2, 2025 at 7:45 AM
It's Sigmund now. I have a Sigmund.

I'll accept Siegmund, Sigmond, etc, but now he shares name with Sig.

What I got from reading this: You have a Sigmund too???

Wild story, a font service was bought out by a US company and now they are absolutely dogshit and it'll particularly heavily affect JP games, especially service titles.

I mean, he does end up with people following him around, so they just cook for him.

For being the most discriminated character in the story, he's also the biggest spoiled kid, I guess.
December 1, 2025 at 11:22 AM
He doesn't know how to cook at all! Temples have staff (super low ranked priestesses and low-ranked apprentices) who cook, so as the High Priest's "apprentice", he wasn't allowed near the kitchen. He never learnt during his travels either, as people are too scared to refuse if he asks for food.

Not me reading these through, get to chores, talk to my husband about the potential answers based on each story and literally talk about Ansy's cooking (or lack thereof) for like 30 minutes straight.

Anyway, I should sit down and start writing answers to these so I can post on my site.

5. "Don't tell him I made these. Say it was you."

6. "I asked you, where is he?!"

What are some of the lines by one party of the main ship that have completely broken me and I will never recover from (paraphrased/the vibes)?

1. "Goodnight."

2. "Please, I am sick. I need your help. I really am sick."

3. "I always believed in you."

4. "I can't see you."

This happens frequently between like September and May.

Winter half of the year is the hardest part of the year for me to create content.

I have a few more parts drafted for Observations Among Thieves and Other Vermin, but I'm down with a fever and have been sick for about a week so I'm not getting much done right now.
November 30, 2025 at 1:26 PM
I forgot to mention part 19 of Observations Among Thieves and Other Vermin is up on the site.

I can't say exactly when the next part will be up because I have more drafting to do, but I think this is a good place to pause for how long it will be before I post the next part.

And just because Linden has such a big role though not the MC…
They're very capable, so know how to fish, determine if it's safe to drink, etc. I don't know if they can swim, but I figure they probably had to learn how during their education.

This is from a couple of days ago, but because of the timing, I just wanted to say this:
Thadus's relationship with water… is currently interesting. He has nothing against water spirits, and he sees water as a necessity for reasons… but at the moment (in publication) he's also rather MISERABLY WET.
Greetings, #NovemberWorldbuilders! Let's talk about your MC today. What is their relationship with water like? Do they know how to swim? Have they ever caught a fish? Or is it just something that gets in the way during their long journey? Maybe they've never *seen* a body of water so big

Whoops! Forgot to say part 18 of Observations Among Thieves and Other Vermin is up as of last night!

Part 19 will either be up today or tomorrow.

While at it, I also added about the social classes and so on, but like, that's pretty obvious it's going to be there from the moment you read it because THADUS.

Anyhow, if you're interested in The Unfortunate Misadventures of Lord Thadus, here's the info page:

I posted the first installment of Observations Among Thieves and Other Vermin arc 2 in the early morning hours.

I also updated the story information with some content notes. Nothing wild, just a heads up if someone has an extremely low tolerance for *gestures vaguely* general survival, I suppose?

Am I still bitter about the comment? No.

Did it affect my perception toward GL? No.

Was it ungrateful toward me or disregarding that I'm human with preferences and that reviews are inherently biased? Yes.

So I will keep talking about it like a cranky millennial because I am a cranky millennial.
