My favorite type of conspiracy theory is the one where the bad guys have to signal they’re bad with “secret” messaging. Yeah man, nasa is supposed to be read in Hebrew.

There’s nothing scarier than the mind of 10 year old girls who write horror fiction.

MMA can create characters that literally everybody loves to see bad stuff happen to in a way no other sport can. There's no ironic or contrarian fans of Eye, Jamahal Hill, or Dillon Danis. Everyone enjoys their misery.

The ESPN era started on a flyweight main event and is ending on a flyweight main event, except instead of the Barclays it’s at the apex.

After a few weeks back to lifting, I’m finally back to the weight that feels heavy (still not a lot). Prayers for your boy.

NJ Transit has this initiative called “Transit to Trails” where they try to match you up with a bus or train that takes you close to popular state trails and park.

But really highlights how car dependent access to nature is here.

Robelis Despaigne drops Sam Alvey with a right hand and follows up with ground and pound until the allotted time runs out. Sam is clearly done, but the ref misses Sam's drunken stumble back to his corner.

“The silent recession” will make a great chapter title in a textbook one day.

Yan using his shin as a wedge to create space and peel Merab off his back or keep him from establishing position.

A common tactic in Muay Thai to nullify clinchers and prevent them from bringing their hips in.

Rewatching Taira-Moreno. Didn't catch it live but Moreno definitely hits his head on the mat and gets flashed KOed on the outside trip takedown in the 2nd.

That's one of the thing about these long title reigns. They can end unceremoniously like that. A freak injury and it's all over. Makes guys like DJ, Aldo, Silva, and GSP all the more impressive.

A shame we lost like 4 or 5 years of Cejudo's prime. Plenty of fights over that span that could have been amazing.

Of all the ways this fight was gonna go, did not think Talbott would hit an inside trip and double leg takedown on Henry Cejudo in the first round.

Had it a draw myself with Guskov picking up a 10-8. But if you hurt a 42 year old man in one of the first two rounds of a fight and don't win decisively, you deserve to lose.

Probably not a good sign for Guskov that 42 year old Jan is just as fast/faster than him.
