This is the yin to Stealth’s yang (yes I looked it up to make sure the dark/light association was correct and it’s a good thing cause I would have gotten it wrong)

A dark scene is SO much harder to paint than a light one, I learned. I started off with my usual random washes and immediately lost all my lines. It was a struggle. This didn’t end up nearly as dark and mysterious as I had originally planned, but it was a sacrifice I had to make to be able to tell what is going on. I just can’t get enough variation in black and I feel like there is never a black dark and rich enough for what I want.

But I do really like how it turned out, and I think they’re gonna look so good together!

I create drawings in connection with astrological transits. This one is for the recent Venus/South Node conjunction. It's inspired by one of my favorite films, Hero, & one of my favorite actresses, Maggie Cheung. The sigil in the Moon is to "Leave heartbreak in the past."
