I have been taking it then getting ready for bed then going to bed and writing plans /thoughts out in my book and sleeping when I feel sleepy

Avoiding phone and screens is important because the blue light fights the melatonin I’m pretty sure

I need to talk to a doctor because it should only be a temporary solution to my overall sleep cycle issues

It does have drawbacks (sleeping too long, generally more sleepy, disrupting natural sleep processes)

It usually takes ~30 mins after ingesting for it to work on me

It doesn’t necessarily put you to sleep but it signals your brain to go sleepy mode

If you just have a circadian rhythm problem, it’ll help

If you have other sleep issues it won’t
(I think that’s how it works at least)
