On this day in 1918, a Czech Jewish woman was born. On the 7 May 1942 she was deported to Theresienstadt with her mother and then on the 9 May 1942 to Sobibór where they were murdered. Her name was Edita Kohnová

Reducing defending women's single-sex spaces to toilet policing is ugly misogyny. We need single-sex spaces for safety, dignity, privacy. It'd stop some being sexually assaulted by trans identifying men in prison! We also need them to organise politically because we're dismissed by men like Patrick.

On reading some of the more informed comment on the Sandie Peggie tribunal ruling it's starting to feel like the judge might have to face some very serious consequences. Gender ideology must be a hell of a drug for people to risk their careers. Head of NHS Fife gone, activist judge to follow?

The @teamlabouruk.bsky.social government is anti-woman in refusing to publish the EHRC guidance re Supreme Court clarification of meaning of sex in equality legislation. So organisations are clinging onto unlawful policy permitting males with trans identities in women's services provisions & sports.
Kishwer Falkner, the former EHRC chair, is on Sky saying the Labour government is anti-women, citing not just trans issues but also grooming gangs and what she calls pandering to Islam and racial sensitivities. She's not exactly dispelling the idea she was a political actor when she led the EHRC.
