I got the flu and COVID vaccine yesterday, I had a small reaction this morning, so I took some Tylenol. Now I have the urge to watch some trains (more than usual). Should I be worried?

NFS is one of those technology that at the base level "just works" These days, do basic config, run "mount ..." on a client and BAM, you have file access. Tweaking and optimization can come later, and the base functionality provides 80% of what you need initially. Same as Ethernet.

Which is why my next book is entitled,

You bring up an interesting situation. I'm curious, I assume AI written papers also need careful reviews of content and references? What about halucinations?

Is the AI written review paper more complete than the human version, or substantially better?

You may want to get some tissues.

That's where I got mine, it should be here next week. And the amazing thing is they take Apple gift cards.
thedeadline.bsky.social
Oh how I remember punch cards. You thought really hard about how your code worked, no debugger, lots of print statements, and reams of green and white paper

I'm clean, I need to spice things up a bit. Here goes

I use AI to write all my books and articles, even this post. Grand Funk Railroad is the best band of all time. Best movie ever "Hell Comes to Frogtown" Look it up, it is a thing.

You got it, I'll just sell some of my VA Linux stock.

I'm not a finance type, but when the entire stock market is holding its breath for the results of one HW company that sells to a market that essentially is not making much $, seems a little "tulipy" to me.

Serious question: Will future US government HPC HW procurements favor US-Intel parts over AMD, Nvidia, etc. ? Seems like you want to support your brand.

C is a more universal assembly language (and of course dangerous). Fortran is much easier to learn and a bit safer. Learning languages like Chapel or Julia are much better options these days.

And to answer your second question: No, not yet
