...but on the other, what's stopping YOU from attempting reliving those aesthetics, you can do something small like having clear colored phone cases with charms & wallpapers, to outright trying out fashions of those times or even redecorating your room or things in your room to match that aesthetic

Something I always hear in regards to nostalgia, or more specifically, nostalgia aesthetics like Y2K or Frutiger Aero is something like "We'll never get to have this again" or "It's sad that this was taken from us" and on one hand, I get it, it sucks that the world just isn't like that anymore...
