Honestly I'm surprised that it has taken this long for Reddit to champion the boycott of Twitter related links and quell the popularisation of misinformation/disinformation from the richest man in the world's own propaganda platform. Not that Reddit is a faunt of truth in its own regard.

When is this article from? I'd say the sentiment applies to substantially more cultures than just Americans - namely, the whole world (give or take a few).

It is deeply disappointing that the richest person in the world happens to be a 12-year old in a 53 year old's body. Imagine the profound sense of duty and responsibility one could be entitled to feel at having won Capitalism. But no, we get banal juvenile behaviour in lieu of benevolence. Sad.

Yes you don't have to. But the people who make your laws have decided that you do.

When the people who are winning the game get to set the rules, the other players will always be at a disadvantage; their work without meaning. Their lives devoted to servitude. #fuckcapitalism

Oh those were the days - when my newsfeed was actually news about the people I cared about and wanted to see updates from.

It is pathetic in this day and age that a social media platform cannot grow and thrive without being infected by bots. Everywhere you look it's the same cancerous, banal, shallow advertising. All algorithmically charged sales funnels to dubious vices and degeneracy. RIP the internet.
