It may seem contradictory that the "food is medicine" crowd (derogatory) cut SNAP benefits, but their reasoning has always been based in shaming/blaming people.
It has never been about access to healthy food.

Its not that using ableist language is "offensive" alone, it is in that using ableist epithets, we normalize the idea that disability is a state of undesirable, laughable inferiority and otherness, and that disabled people deserve to the butt of the joke for some intrinsic reason--its insidious

I am significantly disabled. I need help showering. I need help preparing food. It's hard enough being disabled. I am beyond furious that Starmer thinks I & other disabled people like me need to be 'incentivised' into work by cutting the meagre support we rely on to help us live a dignified life.
