Follow-up: as long as you start a Switch game while being online, it doesn't matter if the system has the Virtual Game Cards loaded. Just make sure you go into Airplane Mode before another user starts the same game on the other Switch.
I wonder how Gameshare will handle this on Switch 2 🤔

As posted before, tinkering with Gens 1-2 stuffs currently. Gen 1 games' batteries all still shockingly work, as well do the Stadium games' saves (no batteries in those I think).
Gen 2 though? RTC f'd those, so new batteries soon.
Once I learn how to solder lol
