This has to be one of the earliest horror films that deals with the cellphone problem. Cellphones are becoming commonplace, so she has one (a flip phone with a charm!) but oh no there’s no service in the parkade. Manages to get her hands far enough outside a fence for service but oh no she drops it

The dummy drop was during a flashback to 2 years ago. A bunch of girls are chasing another around, probably as some sort of hazing, and accidentally kill her by pushing her off a balcony. Will this have anything to do with the murders? Only time and the screenwriter can tell
