GCSE Maths distributions by board and age (16 and 17+). AQA’s entry has a larger proprtion of resits than Pearson. OCR and Eduqas don’t report age data so are lumped together, but Eduqas’ grade distribution suggests most of their entry is 17+. OCR tend to have a larger F entry.

Ada Lovelace Day is on Tuesday 14 October this year, which might seem like a long way away, but if you’re organising an indie event, it’s practically right round the corner. So why not start thinking about what you're doing to do for ALD and get organising!

Further evidence of England's improvement in maths today with the release of the TIMSS 2023 test which allows for comparisons across countries.

Particularly good news at year 9 (13 year olds) where we've seen a decent jump despite the pandemic (unlike other countries).

Pound for pound, there is no better investment schools can make than teacher CPD.

Forget shiny new things. Without expert teachers, it’s all just a waste of money.
