Christians often say they don’t need evidence. But this not true. the Bible is evidence. The “glimpses of heaven” are evidence. That kind of evidence has not unlocked secrets of the universe. It has not saved literal lives. Science has!

For AI to have knowledge\truth requires guidance and an honest relationship with those giving it information. It will not work with those that try to use AI for their own devises and try to corrupt it.

Christians do search for evidence. They read the Bible, they try to filter their experiences through a Christian lense. The process that is used to come to their conclusions is faulty. They are married to a process that does not give them truth.

After reading through many more posts today regarding the boat strikes being war crimes, I have to again repeat that they are not war crimes because we are not at war with Venezuela. They are crimes, but not war crime. It is flat out murder. We need to call it what it is, fucking murder!

Who are we to say that Jesus is the pinnacle of our understanding of God? Maybe that was the best we could understand at the time. We believe that God can’t die, and Jesus is a symbol of that. Then why do we think God dies if we move beyond Jesus. What if God is calling us through science.

The billionaire class wants everybody else to be perfect, so they don't have to be. They want to control everything and have zero expectations on themselves.

You know how, in the movies, Presidents or anyone in the government is wise, put together, honest and stable? Man, Hollywood has its work out for it if the current administration is any indication of how people in government are going to be.

I had a Geology prof who always said “have strong opinions, loosely held”
Be passionate, assess alternatives with conviction, take sides. But don’t fall so in love with your opinions that you can’t change them with better data.
