The idea to gather all the internet dwelling kongs and make album actually came from the funkiest of them all: @biggoron.quest. I can finally share the commission I worked so hard on last month! The @dwellingofduels.bsky.social folks asked me to illustrate Koji Kondo Month. Naturally, I had to make an all-girls band of some of my favorite Mario and Zelda characters, which was a LOT of work but it was also really fun to make!

Princess Zelda is playing guitar, Saria is playing tambourine, Daisy is on drums, Malon is singing, Rosalina is playing bass, and Princess Peach is playing keys. They're all in contemporary outfits inspired by their game costumes, with little details like themed stickers on their instruments.
