the stalled state budget includes provisions that permanently remove the provost's authority over appointing the school's dean

callanan was an expert witness for the defense of gop leaders 3 times. the lawyer running the investigation into the school was part of the defense team in all 3 cases

after this year's job search started falling apart, atkins refused to follow hr's suggestion for mitigating the issue

one of atkins' longtime friends, keegan callanan, works for billionaire conservative donor paul singer.

callanan has been talking to clemens, atkins, and others about the school since 2021

The 16-year-old that still is like, [grunts] “live, laugh, love — [expletive] dumbass!” Like, “live laugh, love, the world is [expletive]!” And then my life changing drastically. It’s like, I guess the joke was on me, because if you have kids, that is not even kind of funny at all. If someone says “live, laugh, love” and you have kids, you’re like, “Exactly, brother.”
